The Xu-Chapter Behavioral Code
(Implemented House Rules of 2002-2003)

Article I
        The Chapter behavioral code is a written instrument that provides the basic framework of house rules to guide the XU-Chapter members of Beta Sigma-Upsilon Sigma. It modes members to practice discipline and proper projection inside the campus conducive to the three-fold main goals, Peace Unity and Justice.
         Members are expected to act themselves in a manner that promotes their continuing development as Betaupsians.
 
Section 1. There shall be a meeting every third school-day of the week.
 
Section 2. Members are required to attend the meeting, otherwise, disciplinary actions will be imposed to them.
 
Section 3. Members are expected to follow the officers in terms of implementing guidelines set by them.
 
Section 4. Members shall observe the secrecy of the password, handclaps and handshakes.
 
Section 5. Members shall seek justice in a peaceful way in times of troubles and fraternity related violence.
 
Section 6. Members shall help protect the environment of the University premises.
 
Section 7. Activities using the name of the organization, whether inside or outside the University shall be cleared with the chapter officers.
 
Section 8. Members shall minimize the act of vandalism.
 
Section 9. Members shall protect the welfare of his/her fellow brother/sister.
 
Section 10. Members shall observe the proper recruitment procedure.
 
Section 11. Members shall observe the prohibition of having Initiation rituals without the presence of Chapter Officers and Council members.
 
Section 15. The act of violation includes but is not limited to and shall be imposed an appropriate Disciplinary actions equal to 3 Full blasts paddles.
 
           A. Getting drunked during the meeting.
           B. Wearing of earrings and other accessories
                during the initiation.
           C. Troubles
           D. Absence of any assemblies.
           E. Vandalism
           F. Any form of disrespect to officers.
           G. Recruiting an invalid neophyte.
           H. Disrespect to the official seal, banner and 
                paddle of Beta Sigma-Upsilon Sigma.
